Want to hide your Life360 location without your parents, partner, or boss getting an alert? Life360's built-in "Pause Location" sends a notification to everyone in your Circle. The trick is using a desktop tool that connects to your phone via USB. Here is how to do it in 5 minutes on both iPhone and Android, without jailbreak or root.
Life360 tracks your live GPS 24/7 and shares it with everyone in your Circle. Turning off location sharing or putting your phone on airplane mode triggers an alert. So does deleting the app or signing out. Even Life360's own "Bubble" feature still tells your Circle you are hiding something. The only way to stay invisible without raising suspicion is to set a fake GPS location that Life360 cannot tell apart from your real one.

Why pausing Life360 does not actually work
Most people try the obvious things first. Here is why they all fail:
As you can see, every built-in Life360 method tells your Circle something is going on. Only faking your GPS location keeps everything looking normal. Life360 sees a real location and shares it with your Circle as usual. No alerts, no notifications, no questions.
The tool you need
After testing several options, the most reliable Life360 location changer is iMyFone AnyTo. This app works on both platforms. On iPhone, it supports any model up to the latest iPhone 17 Pro Max running iOS 26.4. On Android, it supports any phone up to Android 16. The best part is that you do not need to jailbreak your iPhone or root your Android, which can cause damage and void your warranty. The free trial lets you test it before paying.
Method 1: Hide Life360 Location on iPhone
On iPhone, Apple locks down location services tightly. The only reliable way to spoof GPS in 2026 is by connecting your iPhone to a desktop computer running AnyTo. Here are the steps.
-
Download AnyTo on your computer
Available for Windows and Mac. The free trial does not need a credit card.

Search the location you want to appear at
Type any address, place name, or GPS coordinates. Pick somewhere believable. If your parents think you are at the library, type the library address. The map will pin to that exact spot.

-
Click "Move" to apply the fake location
Within a couple of seconds, your iPhone GPS will show the new location. Open Life360 on your phone to confirm. Your dot should now show at the fake spot, with no alerts sent to anyone in your Circle.

Method 2: Hide Life360 Location on Android
Android is easier than iPhone because the operating system has a built-in mock location feature. AnyTo uses this feature to change your GPS without rooting your phone. The setup is slightly different because Android requires USB Debugging to be turned on. Here are the steps.
-
Open AnyTo on your computer
If you already installed AnyTo for the iPhone steps, just launch it again. Otherwise download the Windows or Mac installer first.

How to go back to your real location
Just close AnyTo and disconnect your phone from the computer. On iPhone, the fake location will reset after a restart. On Android, restart the phone or turn off USB Debugging. Your real GPS comes back immediately and Life360 will show your actual location again with no warning to anyone in your Circle.
